In 2 to 5 years

Placing our Goals in writing will help us to stay on course.
On this subject, write down your Big Goal that will come to pass in 2 to 5 Years.
Be specific. For example, "On January 18th 2011, I achieve success by receiving my Diploma."
The more detail that you can provide about your vision, the better it will be. If you can smell, feel, taste or see your Goal, then describe it.

Please keep it positive.

Now that you've written your goal, be certain to make the connection. For example, if you are taking a course in Mathematics at Guam Community College or at the Mayors Office in Chalan Pago, then it should be connected toward your goal. Know your steps toward completing your goal. These steps are goals toward your big Goal, therefore each step should have the same level of commitment and sacrifices.

Next, write down, the purpose(s) or reason(s) for wanting to achieve your goal(s).
Why is it important to you? Explain. Make sure that your reason for achievement is burning and unwaivering. To elaborate, your reason or purpose must be so strong that no one can change your mind toward accomplishing your goal. Your method (or steps) for achieving your goal could change, but your big goal remain the same.

Finally, keep your written goals with you.
This is your friendly reminder and personal agreement.

And of course, we'd like to provide you with our moral support.

I drew this while on my last trip in Makati Nov 2008. Anyway, didn't spend too much time on this since, I was enjoying my time with friends. It's just on my time alone, I prefer to draw. This was one of them.

I was thinking of being stuck on a remote island with nothing but nature to keep me company. Devising on my limited survival skills. I was able to survive. Eventually, I made my own water containers and handcarry. The weather outside was frightful but in my heart I felt delightful. So, let it rain. Let it rain. Let it rain. Hahah.

Do you think, Balati's are cute? I don't really mind them on the beaches. I do feel sorry for them when people pick them up and toss them around. Some Tourist actually get a kick holding it in their hand. I'll have to bring a camera along while walking along the beach to see if I could get a picture or two.

I like to take challenges head on.
No misconceptions. Charge!
The greatest problems can always be solved through action or inaction.
The end result can often be traced to the key moment or moments that would direct it toward the finality.
It is also a matter of decision and timing.
We decide too late and our inability to act sooner would create a momentum too strong for any decision to affect change.
So, charge! Make sure you charge at the right time.
You'll know the moment to act.
Do it now!

Do you get into a mental debate? Do you get into what if this and what if that issues? Me too. Does this continue past the moment of any alternative choices. Congratulations! You've taken an action called inaction. This is a decision. Is it the right one? Were you distracted?

Did you regret it? Did you regret it each time it happened. Did this happen too often? So, next time. Do it differently. Take that chance. Take it! Charge!

I remembered a youthful memory of the reef across from my home.
It was great exploring new things. Never knew what could have lurked in the reef cavities and where islets of waters lay trapped. It was all fun until one day. I was in WAIST DEEP! Wow, how did this happen? How long was I out here? It seemed that I too was trapped. The only way back to shore was to walk in waist deep water. No choice. I couldn't wait any longer or I would end up way over my head.

Quick Sketch using pen & ink. We've had our share of fantastic ideas. Imagine a casual conversation with a dragon or dinosaur. That would be incredible! If dragons did exist then this would have been a regular occurrence. It would probably be as exciting as having a casual talk with a friend.

The next sketch was created with pen and ink. Most of these quick sketches are nothing more than doodles in between songs during choir practice. When I was familiar with the music, I continued to sketch. This thought came about in quick succession. It was rather cold. Surprisingly.

It felt cold. And without hesitation. This doodle started to take form. This character is fully clothed in a hoodie and thick pants. a sheet of frozen water is at his feet. The strings are exaggerated out of proportion naturally. And he stands their asking," why am I here in the cold?"
